Most Up-To-Date Technology
Warrior Eyecare offers the latest technological advancements available in caring for your eyes. Every exam room is completely computerized, from the digitally computerized eye charts to the networked equipment utilized in your care. The technician can take a picture of the back of your eye in the Pre-Test Room using the Retinal Camera, and Dr. Andrews can share the view of that picture with you in the exam room as she reviews what she may see affecting the health of your eyes. In keeping up with the latest technological advances, and in striving to deliver the best care possible, we have recently acquired a new diagnostic device called the Foresee PHP. This piece of equipment has been proven to be highly effective in the treatment of Age-Related Macular Degeneration, and will assist Dr. Andrews in providing the best care possible to patients with this condition.
For patient's with vision threatened by Glaucoma, Dr. Andrews utilizes the Laser Diagnostics GDXvc. This device analyses the nerve fiber layer in the back of the eye, providing information related to changes threatening vision that may be occurring due to elevated or uncontrolled eye pressures. For people with other health conditions such as Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, or taking medications known to affect vision, Dr. Andrews utilizes a Humphrey Visual Field Analyser to determine where on the retina vision is being lost, and thus how to treat more effectively. If you get a foreign object in your eye, such as sand, metal, or debris of any kind, an Ocular Microscope will be used in order the visualize the object for removal, and to evaluate the extent of the damage, and how best to treat it.
