Dr. Faye Andrews
Dr. Faye Andrews is committed to providing the very best in eye care to the residents in the northern Jefferson County, and west Blount County areas. Dr. Andrews has lived in the Hayden community of Blount Community for over fifteen years. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1991 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from UAB in Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Dr. Andrews opened Warrior Eyecare in February 1994, and moved to it's current location in August 2002. Dr. Andrews has been seeing patients in Blount County since 1998, and moved the practice to the current Cleveland Eyecare location in July 2000.
Dr. Andrews is certified in providing post-operative care for the refractive surgery patient. She is also certified by the Alabama Board of Optometry in Contemporary Ocular Therapeutics. She has extensive experience with the diagnosis and management of glaucoma, and is able to utilize state of the art technology in the testing and screening of this condition. Additionally, Dr. Andrews is certified in corneal molding, and has a large contact lense practice.

Judy
Judy has worked in eye care for over five years. With an excellent eye for color and fashion, Judy is uniquely qualified in assisting the patient in the selection of an attractive as well as optically appropriate frame. At Warrior Eyecare, Judy's primary area of responsibility is to not only assist the patient with frame selection, but to also inform the patient of the different options now available to eye glass wearers. If you need help deciding between line or no-line bifocals, polarized versus anti-reflective coated lenses, transition lenses versus tinting, or just want a pair of glasses that are uniquely you, Judy is the one to see.
Judy lives in the Sardis area of north Jefferson County with her husband and son. When she's not working, Judy enjoys lake living, biking, and concerts.

Emily
Emily is an optometric technician, assisting Dr. Andrews during all phases of your eye exam. Emily will review your eye health history as well as overall health history with you before you ever see the doctor. She will run preliminary tests on your eyes as ordered by Dr. Andrews, and then Dr. Andrews will review theses tests and discuss them with you during the exam. Emily operates all of the technical equipment used to test different areas of your eyes and your vision. Our laser retinal scanner assists in detecting glaucoma, and other elusive retinal problems. The digital retinal camera takes a detailed picture of all the internal structures in your eyes for detecting and monitoring eye diseases.
When not working, Emily is a busy college student, and active in her church.

Wanda
After retiring from Norwood Clinic where she worked for 25 years, Wanda has now started her next career. But dealing with insurance is nothing new to Wanda. Utilizing her previous experience, Wanda works primarily to make sure the procedures and testing that you receive in the course of your eye exam here at Warrior Eyecare is properly recorded and documented for insurance transmittal. She is proficient at insurance verification, scheduling, patient enrollment, and report management.
Wanda lives in Hayden, Alabama with her husband, Wayne. When she is not working, she enjoys keeping her grandchildren and reading.

Starla
Starla works as an Optometric Technician, assisting Dr. Andrews in all aspects of patient care. During your exam, Starla will review your medical history with you, clarifing information required by Dr. Andrews during the eye exam. Any special testing ordered for you during your exam will be administer by Starla, where she will thoroughly explain everything that will be happening and what the test will reveal in terms of your eye health.
Starla lives in the Warrior community with her husband, and two children.

Ginny
Warrior Eye Care if fortunate to have Ginny as our Optical Manager. Originally from Maryland, Ginny has over 25 years experience in the optical field. Ginny is available to assist you in selecting the best eyewear for their visual needs. Ginny works with each patient to measure, fit, adjust, and make sure every aspect of your new glasses meet your expectations. As manager of the optical department, Ginny personally selects the frames we carry for style, durability, and quality, and will to glad to assist you with any questions or issues involving your vision with your new glasses.
Ginny lives in the Remlap area of Blount County with her fiance. In her free time she enjoys gardening, reading, running, and hiking.

April
Working mainly at our Cleveland Eyecare location, April has over six years of experience in the eye care business. You will find April behind the front desk in Cleveland, greeting patients and scheduling appointments.
When not working, April is busy with her many hobbies, including photography, and writing music. April lives in the Locust Fork area with her husband, Jimmy.

Carolyn
Carolyn works as the business office manager, and is responsible for the billing and insurance for both the Warrior and Cleveland locations. Carolyn has a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University and studied accounting at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Carolyn lives in the Hayden area, and when she's not working, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
